Non-Residential Service Requirements
In addition to the requirements outlined above, below is some additional information about establishing non-residential services with Erwin Utilities.
- All non-residential customers are required to sign an application for all utility services.
- All past due amounts must be paid in full.
- Deposits for non-residential customers are based upon two (2) months estimated average bill. When service is disconnected for any reason, the deposit will be applied to the unpaid account balance.
- A cash security deposit, surety bond, or irrevocable letter of credit will be required to establish service(s).
- A connection fee will be charged depending on the number of services requested.
- If a water or wastewater tap is required at the service location, the total cost will be determined after the customer’s service application is submitted.
- If the new service requires a main line extension, a cost estimate will be provided after a site-survey is completed.

Additional Services for Non-Residential Customers
Outdoor Lighting
Security lights, parking lot lights, and flood lights can be installed at the customer’s request. The monthly charge includes installation, normal maintenance and power and depends on the light size and whether a transformer or pole is needed just for the light.
