To better serve our community and to continue to provide safe, reliable, and efficient services, Erwin Utilities uses an opt-out round-up program for customers as authorized by T.C.A. § 7-52-103(e)(1). With the Round Up program, customers’ bills are automatically rounded up to the next whole dollar each month. Proceeds from Erwin Utilities’ Round-Up Program are used to assist members of our community through efforts such as the Good Samaritan Fund, which funds bill payment assistance, and TVA’s Home Uplift, which provides funding for energy-efficiency upgrades for low-income homeowners. Any customer may opt out of Erwin Utilities’ Round Up Program. To do so, please contact Erwin Utilities’ Customer Service by phone at (423) 743-1820 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, or by email at customerservice@e-u.cc and indicate that you would like to opt-out of Erwin Utilities’ Round-Up Program.
